DESCRIPTION:In 2022\, the Drupal Community Health Team began the process o
 f updating the project's 12-year old code of conduct. This session will pr
 ovide an overview of the approach the team took to this task\, including:\
 n\n- Incorporating feedback from past community discussions and surveys\n-
  Reviewing codes of conduct from other communities for inspiration\n- Prio
 ritizing what elements were important to have in an updated code of conduc
 t\n- Ensuring that the updated code of conduct was written in a way that w
 as clear and understandable\n- Soliciting input from community stakeholder
 s prior to sharing with the community-at-large\n\nWe'll discuss what chang
 es were made\, and how the new code of conduct was designed to meet the un
 ique needs of the Drupal project and community.
